Pork Chop Casserole

Porkchops
2 cans of Cream of Mushroom Soup
2 Cups Rice
2 Cups of Water
Seasoning for chops

Preheat oven 350 degrees.
Rinse and pat dry chops. Put rinsed rice and water in a casserole dish (11x 13 pan, I usually fix two). Add your seasoned porkchops , I don't overlap them. then add the mushroom soup on top. Bake for 1 hour to 1 hour and half covered in tinfoil. One of my family favorites and company's.

Not so much to really share my creative space, but to explore everyone elses AWESOME creative spaces, every inch of them. And still when I need some inspiration I go back and drool over them again again. I have finally decided to participate, I don't really have a grand studio, but it is all mine. I call it "Shabby" because it is thrown together with scrap wood. I didn't get everything finished as I liked, but this will have to do for this year. So to begin, this is what you will see as you enter in from the door.

This is behind the door.. A few vintage flower girl dresses, and my rake that I turned into a ribbon rack. At the bottom of the picture, I have one of my vintage pillowcase dress displayed.

The opposite wall of the door, I have my childhood doll my Grandmother gave me, I have had her since I was 8 years old.

One of my beautiful sweet hats with some needlepoint of my first daughters birth.

UGGG!! Now, I didn't get to organizing these shelves. Iwanted to paint the brown one, but didn't get to.. So here is my mess of fabric. The vintage pieces are on the bottom shelves. The top baskets have ribbon, punches, buttons in jars, etc.

This is my JUNK wall, something I need to work on, but some of my supplies are kept here.

All those suitcases are full of dollies, hankies, notecards, etc. The blue bonnet is my husbands triple great granny. The Chest has all my gift wrapping supplies in it.

My newest addition.. I just love it.

I hung my demo pillowcase dresses in it. Ican't believe I got all 50 dresses stuck in there. More storage underneath them.

All the dresses are full of ribbon, I did get to go thru them and put all the same colors in bags and in the same drawer.

I've been looking for the perfect scrapbook supplies for my first grandchild. I started to purchase some stuff, I even had it all in my buggy. But I ended up putting it back.. Just a Little of This and That

I've been trying to get my little studio ready for the "Where Women Create 2011". It's just a BIG FAT Mess!! I did manage to CREATE a new banner and to add it to my little Etsy shop. I thought it turned out rather dandy..

I've had this little dress cut out for more than four weeks and I couldn't wait to see how it turned out. I love the fabric so breezy and cool. Great for summer weather.

I wanted to CREATE a little more in my little studio and clean but I have to work in my Beauty Salon in a little bit. But I have my list a going for my creations and things I need to do. I love list, I didn't realize it until the other day. When anything would come to my mind that I need to do or want to do. I write it down. And it easys my mind, so I don't have to think so hard. Well, I gotta go and work. Hoping to CREATE something special later, maybe inbetween appointments, maybe.

Before and After $20.00 find

I went to a yard sale Saturday.. And found this for cabient for $20.00.. I could not believe it.. I've been wanting one of these for a while. I had big plans for it. Couldn't wait to get home and get started on it.

And This is what I came up with.. I couldn't decide If I wanted to put mirrors where the fabric is, or chicken wire. Then I thought of the fabric. I used some knobs I had. I want to get more of the clear ones. I'm wanting to put shelves in the clothes closet area. But for now this will do.

I am very pleased with how it turned out.. Now to put some of my supplies in it.. So excited.. I just had to share it..

I've been so busy lately...

I've have been so busy lately with the NEW grandbaby meia.. She has really changed out lives...our time!! But I have gotten a little time in to do some CREATeing.. My mental meds. "break", before I absolutely went CRAZY!!! Here is a few pictures of some things I've been working on..

My beautiful Granddaughter "Meia"

The Sweetest little bundle of Happiness... Ever...

She has kept us all so busy, My life has been on hold for a little while. As we help her mom (my daughter) and Meia adjust to this New life she has entered into..

Getting ready for my first Granddaughter "Meia"

As we've waited so paitently for my first granddaughter, some friends and family got together and decided to bless her gifts.. Abundently of gifts. It was diffently a "shower of gifts" party. I wanted to share some of the blessings. My close friends mom helped me decorate with alot of items my grandmother and great grandmother items they made or used in eariler years.

My wonderful daughter whom is carrying my granddaughter.

My two daughters, My oldest will be down in a few weeks.. I missed her not being there. But she lives out of town.

One of my WONDERFUL sisters.. If it wasn't for her and her loving heart I don't know what I would do.

As she opens the AWESOMEST blessings.. The vintage bassent was used by alot of family members, now I think it's not safe to use. But we couldn't part with it.. The blanket inside it was one that my grandmother made.

There was so many to ADORABLE little outfits.. and abuntance of needs for little Meia.

I loved the way the little clothesline in the back turned out. It is simply adorable..

The one and only diaper bag she recieved.. To cute...

I had to get a picture of this little fellow.. To precious..

And my little niece.. she is so sweet.

And a close friend bought this little outfit for me for Meia.. It says Grandma's girl on it.. LOVE IT!!

This precious little thing won the Clothespin contest of not saying the word "baby".

This little princess was just plain "too cute"...

And FINALLY at the end.... of opening ALL her gifts.. a BIG thank you!!

Now to measure to see whom got the closest to her measurements.. Nykke, her sister standing back watching, got it right on the money.. And she making sure, she is the winner..

THe great grandmother.. was way off.. That's my mom.. Whom I love dearly..

And I wanted to end it with this AMAZING picture of Meia, when we went to the Dr. on Tuesday.. She weighs 5 pounds 5 oz. Dr. said she sould gain an 1/2 pound a week.. I do hope she isn't going to be as big as Mandy was. Mandy weighted 9lbs 12 oz.

I've gott to get to work.. And Mandy's cousin is gonna come and help her put all the BEAUTIFUL things away and organzie Meia's room.. Hope you have a very BLESSED day..

I have been so busy.... I created these adorable, simple thank you cards for my daughter's shower gifts. Since she likes elephants, that is what I went with. I thought they turned out so chic and cute.

I have fell in love with the color aqua..

This pattern reminds me of shabby chic, simple life..

and the daisy that makes me smile dress... very cheerful.. I created this for a customer.

And some simple burp clothes..

And these are my newest addition... They can be used as a burp cloth or washcloth.. I created these with my granddaughter in mind.. I love the colors and the shabby chic pink toile.. Simply adorable..

This was CREATEd for a customer.. One of my favorite designs.

Well, that's all I have to share for now. I've gotten straighten up my craftroom and cook some supper before my customer comes and before I go to the Women's Bible Study tonite. We are studying "Made to Crave".. It is really good.. Well, many blessings to you..

Fulfilling Orders

I've been pretty busy.. I've had several orders.. I've been trying to fulfill. A client wanted a girly John Deere Dress, and this is what I came up with.

I was honored when a Client wanted me to turn her Grandmother crochet pillowcases into heirlooms. These next three photos are those..

When I saw this fabric I wanted to see a dress created in it. And just in time for St. Patrick's Day.

I have feel in love with the color Aqua. And it's kindof Shabby Chic..

This reminds me of the Sunshine.. So cheerful... I think I'm going to try to make some bloomers to go with it.

This is what I have been working on.. I have a few more orders to complete and then I'm working on some projects for my daughters baby shower. I'm going to CREATe a Blessings/Advice book for all of love ones to leave a note of encouragement for her..

Exciting... CREATE ing..

I had to set some goals for this New Year.. To CREATE a little each day.. CREATing is like Prozact to me.. It is my medication!! It helps me get threw the day. I had a couple of dresses I had to finish and get in the mail today. So while I was in my "playground" I had fun with these few projects.

A NEW YEAR!!!

Some personal information. The last several months have been a blur. My husband Grandfather whom I care for got REALLY sick at Christmas a year ago and had heart surgery and we had to put him in a nursing home. Whiched we visited everyday. He has been in out of hospital since. He past away December 22, 2010. The day before he said his goodbyes. Which we didn't know it at the time. We thought he was getting better. It was sad but we know he's not suffering anymore. We had his furneral Monday with a military service. He recieved a purple heart metal with several others for being wounded in WWII. So, on the day of Christmas Eve, I panicked.. MY home was a WRECK!! Family was coming, Friends were visiting because of our loss. I started surface cleaning. Just piling everything in baskets then putting them in my "Creative Playground" (craftroom). I so dreaded to go in there, but longed to CREATE! But couldn't until I cleaned it up, I couldn't even walk in there.

So I bit the bullet and worked nonstop for 5 hours and finally got it presentable.

That totally INSPIRES me.. I CREATed for while. I 'll post pictures in a little while.

I have several goals this year, but the main one is..CREATE....

The Parade Festival

I've always wanted to do a craft show, so I done a local festival we have every year, all the local people come out and celebrate the event. Me and one of my dearest friends decided to get together and do it. I am so glad we did. I got to see alot of people and friends, family. And the results of how everyone reacted to my pillowcase dresses were EXCITING!!! I took some pictures of our little booth. The next one will be done different, but we will twick it as we go..

My daughter made some cookies and cupcakes we gave out to all the kiddos.. She loves to bake..And they were so yummy...

It was a FUN, FUN day.. We really enjoyed it.. I sure was tired when I got home.. So I know now what I will work on and devote my time on..

Custom Order and packaging

I had a custom order for these sweet little "Santa Gone Wild" Pillowcase dresses. They are for two little sisters..

I wanted to add a little suprise gift for the princesses. The oldest one, which is 5, I made this cute little envie out of a old page of story book and then I CREATed a matchbox pad and added a roll-up crayon. I thought it turned out rather cute.

Then for the little princess I made a cute little stuffy being she is only 12 months, I thought she might like it..

This is how they looked when I finished with them.. I was just fixing to place in package.

This is the package when I finished packaging it.. I call all the little customers princesses, so I added a little magic... to their package..

I do hope they enjoy the dresses as much as I did creating them for them.. Now, off to by grocheries.

CREATing

I have been rather busy the last little while. Not only with my CREATing, but with family matters. Here is a few things I've been working on. This sweet little number was the "FALL" hit of the season, the sweet little candy corn dress.

Then I CREATed this precious little tutu, hairbow, leggings and let my NOT so happy niece be the model. I thought it turned out rather cute.

My brother and sister n law are "hunters" so I thought I'd make this cute little camo dress and get her name Monogramed on it, so she could join her mom and dad on their adventures hunting. lol

This tag was my BIGGEST seller for Halloween. It did turn out rather cute.

This one came in second..

Come flat notecards I created for a teacher. I personalized them for the teacher with the school and her name.

Well, this is the first using this fabric... The flannel is eas but this minky stuff is really challenging. I started out making a blanket, but I didn't like the way it looked so I cute it down and made burpies or lap blankets for babys. They sure are cuddly and I wouldn't mind wiping my face with them.

Then I just started using some fabric I've had for a few years and started sewing, sewing, and sewing.
This fall colored one is a cute little number.

I adore anything "VINTAGE" and it was so hard for me to cut this and turn it into a dress. But I knew it would be adorable. I love, love how it turned out..

Go Bulldogs.. Saw this fabric and had to see a little GA fan wearing it..

Santa gone Wild dress...some more fabric I had stashed away... Adorable...

This is my new design for Christmas... I just adore how this turned out.. I wasn't sure about the ribbon.. But some of my Facebook fans told me to keep it.. And I am glad I did..

I had a birthday party to go to for a little boy it was his first. He likes to throw things, so I thought I'd try these little blocks with his name on them.. Then I thought of making a bag with coorindating fabric to put his initial on the front of the drawstring bag. Turned out to be so Adorable.. It was the "HIT" of the party..

Tryed this dress with some Christmas colors.. I like the other one better..

Life and Inspiration from the Honey Bee Festival

It seems I allow my passion take TOTAL control of me..LOL.. I daydream.. and totally focus ALL my thoughts, desires, will to my crafts. Even to the point of neglecting my home and somewhat my family.. My DH had a heart to heart with me.. So now getting my prioities in order so I can still be able to use my creative outlet so I want go stir crazy.. There for a couple of days I was just thinking of just quit crafting, closing my Etsy store and what have you.. I've had a DEEp PASSION to take my business to the next level and do some festivals and craftshows. I have had some offers of some local shops wanting my dresses in there stores.. But scared to take the leap.. I'd probalby have to hire some help.. But anyways.. My dh and I rode the Harley to the "Honey Bee Festival" which brought my burning passion to participate in some festivals.. My daughter and her fellower rode in the car, I got her to take some pictures. I wanted some of all the cute booths/shops. She onlly took one with all the Pillowcase dresses.. Which was totally crazy.. That Lady had been a BUSY BEE. Anyways, that totally put my inspiration back up... here is the only picture of her booth if my other daughter didnt' have my camera i would of taking so much more.. there were sooooo many AWESOME booths/shops..

And of course the Honey Bee Starting the parade off..

Now, I want to go and create but first my home needs some attention..

Hankie Banners

I've been thinking of making some vintage hankie banners. I have been collecting hankies for a few years now and have several. And I have them displayed in my craftroom. But as I'm sitting in the hotel room while my dh is at school I got to thinking of them again, So I googled it this morning. And this is a few of the results.. I've got a Bridal shower coming up I have to decorate for, I might have to try one for it and I've got a baby shower after the first of the year for my first grand child.. So today, I'm going to go visit some local thrift stores in this new little town were having to stay in. They don't open until 10:30.. Can't wait to see what kind of treasure I may find.. Anyhow, will post later of my finds... Have a "BLESSED" day.

My house in CHOAS so I'm hiding in playground

My daughter has moved home, and if you ever moved you know how choas it can be.. Think of your worst plus ten times is how my home is... So while she trying to put everything back together and go thru things, I'm in my wonderful haven, my playground. A few things I'm playing around with. I'm trying to decide what I want my Christmas cards to look like this year. I know the colors are gonna be red and black or either pink and black. A friend ask me to do some flamingo tags, so I created a few tags and cards.. And added a few halloween tags and cards..

67 What's On Your Desk? Wednesday

My desk and Shabby studio is rather shabby and really messy. My daughter did help me some last week, but as soon as I start another project it kind of gets out of hand.

This morning I've got several projects I'm working on: some Halloween cards for a client.

And if you see on top of my sewing machine, I have a cute little candy corn Pillowcase Dress that I've got to put together and get in the mail for another client in Az. The rest of the pictures are some random "Shabby" shots of my little studio.

This something I wrote on my door, my inspiration to me (One day I'm gonna paint the Ugly door, but for now it inspires me by in content "Do something you love and are PASSIONate about and you will succeed." Donald Trumpp

This one shelf houses most of my children ministry things.. I might try to move it into my spare bedroom.
