Were Bloggers Create 2012

I get so excited waiting on this day to come.. Peeking into other creative people studios..That www.mydesertcottage.com. So here are a few pictures of my studio.  This is were I do most of creations, like paper crafts, etc.

I love creating on my machines.. I found half of a door and made it my thread holder..

This shoe bag is filled with all kinds of trim and yummies to add to my creations.

 Some of my lace ...
This is kind of a view when you walk in this is what you see.
The vintage armiore that I upcycled and now it holds some of the dresses my adorable granddaughter has outgrown that I can't depart with. I love the vintage slip hanging.
Some of my fabric.. I need to straighten up and paint the shelf, (maybe by next year). ON top of the shelf is still storage of an old vintage purse it has some of my finished cards and tags.  The vintage jewerly boxes house some of my rhinestones and gems.
Just some of the thinks I collect and add.
A few of my stamps I use regularly. I have more stashed in a drawer.
My apron I made when I'm creating and doing craftshows.
Thanks for visiting my studio. I can't wait to see everyone elses.

Parts of my Home I love...

I am going to post a few things around my home I love.. It will probably be a few different post.  So here goes... I love teacups, dishes.. Here on top of my fridge is a few from my collection.
This is where I do my dishes I love my window.. I like watching the squirels, rabbits and birds.
I love my little table I got from "Pink Cotton".  I needed more room, when my family comes over so I purchased this with four chairs.  I love "Pink Cotton", wish I could set up house with all there beautiful stuff...  I just added the vintage baby bassinet under the table to store extra's like bottle water,.etc. The vintage mason jar was a gift from a close friend from work.
I have a lot of pretty frames that I've been wanting to add around my home.  so I came up with this yesturday.. in my laundry room which is right by my kitchen.
I made this little curtain to hang in my laundry room a few years back to cover the ugly ness behind it.
And of course alot of my vintage aprons, that are displayed in my laundry room also.. I love collecting them.
This is all I have to share for now.. Hopefully soon I'll be sharing some more of my home As I touch up some areas. Now, I'm going to create something very lifting for a close friend for her birthday..

My baby Girls Wedding.. Simple but Sweet

A sweet, sweet but simple little wedding . Trying to peek before it begans.
Proud dad before walking down the isle.
Proud but with tears of joy.
 The wedding party.
 Some fun photos.

 Their little family..
Now to get something to eat..
 Some wonderful cake..
And some lemonade to cool us down.
A wedding is alot of work even if it is simple.  But it was so sweet, now we have an empty nest.  Now what to do...hmmm. CREATE maybe???

Fouth of July...

I started the day out making this sweet little dress for Meia.. It turned out so sweet.
Then after lunch we had some yummy watermelon..
After visiting the campaign 4th of July at the stadium.. It was kicking 105 degrees so we got in the pool to cool off.  She would not let go of her balloon and her sucker she got.
And a to end the night of let freedom ring.. Fire works in our home town..
Such a restful and well needed break.

Pork Chop Casserole
Porkchops

Seasoning for chops

Preheat oven 350 degrees.
Rinse and pat dry chops.  Put rinsed rice and water in a casserole dish (11x 13 pan, I usually fix two).  Add your seasoned porkchops , I don't overlap them. then add the mushroom soup on top.  Bake for 1 hour to 1 hour and half covered in tinfoil.  One of my family favorites and company's.
